today was my first full day in the sunny state of Florida.
Unfortunately, I have no access to my photo editing software, so these photos are "in the nude" so to speak. No editing, other than rotating, has been done to these pictures. I'm working  from one of my roomie's netbook, which I can't see m to operate efficiently. Oh well.

So I came into a lot of amusement today because for an activity in history, we had to comment on our history teacher's blog post and answer some questions. Personally, I think that it was just a way to get some hundred views. But I guess if you looked at this because you heard about our blog (supposedly some people did) that's super cool. Hogwarts, Here I Come!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! As our one and only H returns from Quebec, Canada today, in exactly one week, I (A) will be journeying across the country, through the Forbidden Forest, and to Hogwarts! That's right! The Wonderful World of Harry Potter will be captured by my camera once and for all! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As an underage wizard, I can't apparate into the town, so I had to wait for a school trip to help me go! I'm so excited!!!!!! I can't wait to see if they actually get the wizarding world accurate. You wouldn't understand how excited I am! I'm packing my wand, some gold galleons, and preparing to drink a lot of butterbeer! AHHHHHH!

Poem

So, I'm kind of terrible at rhyming, therefore I suck at poetry. BUT! I tried freeform poetry and this is what happened....

Contorting its rage 

All who get sucked in

When gripped with its power 

Sanity becomes anchorless

Their mind fogs with its own clarity

Watching and waiting

For when you feel alone

Waiting and watching

For its time to strike

Patiently standing in the corner

Of your own dark mind

Well, that little title has absolut nothing to do with any of the pictures in this post, but I said it today and it definitely had a nice ring to it, I've gotta say. Maybe it can be a sequel to the upcoming psychological thriller Love! Anyway, here you go:
